If you’re looking for a sense of luxury at a budget price point, this is a great place to stay while it’s still being developed. The location is excellent, the property and rooms are beautiful, and the owners are incredibly kind and attentive. While they are not always on site, they are consistently prompt and responsive to any questions. Do keep in mind that this is a jungle setting. If you are very uncomfortable with insects or wildlife, this may not be the right fit — or you may prefer a higher-end property designed to be more sealed from the surrounding environment. It’s also worth noting that Wi-Fi can be spotty depending on where you are on the property, and mobile signal does not reliably reach the area. This means you are quite disconnected, which some guests will love and others may find challenging. The staff went above and beyond to help in this regard — they even relocated the router to my dorm, which I happened to have to myself. Overall, a beautiful and memorable stay with great hospitality.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, and above all, the people are amazing. Kani is extremely friendly and kind. He did so many things for me!! I also admire his way of thinking—he truly values encounters and connections with people. You can see it not only in his words, but also in his actions. Thank you for the precious experience in Sigiriya!! Highly recommended!!! Some people may think it’s a bit far from Sigiriya Rock, but actually the entrance is on the west side, and I believe this is one of the few places within walking distance around there.

Since the moment I arrived through the jungle path to this hostel everything was just amazing. Great and cool location (rent a bike there!! Great way to see the area). Comfy beds and nice facilities. They have it all! Tasty free breakfast and dinner for socializing, bar for drinks, organized activities, bike rental, laundry service and nice drivers you can ask for a ride (to Dambulla maybe?). And the best brunch spot called cappuccino bistro in walking distance. This hostel also really went all the way for me on my 27th birthday and organized a surprise birthday party for me with cake and everything! I felt so special and it was so nice of them. The whole stay (3 nights) the staff went all the way for guests. <3

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at during my time in Sri Lanka. The place is clean and comfortable, breakfast was always delicious, and the one dinner I had there turned out to be the best meal of my trip — tasty, generous, and great quality. What really made it special was the people. Maliya was so kind and helpful, always there if I needed anything. He even took me to a beautiful sunset spot nearby and walked me to the bus stop when I checked out. Those small gestures really meant a lot and made the stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!
