The staff were very friendly and allowed me to stay in the seating room the next day before heading to the airport, which I really appreciate. The location is great, and the place is clean.

All rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. great location, near central station, easy access to bus for airport, owner very nice giving great instructions on how to get there, easy self check in, quiet, felt secure as a solo traveler

Situated in the Riga Old Town, Amber Rooms offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi, 150 metres from Daugava River and the Dome Square. Rooms are bright and feature minimalist design. The rooms are simple in this self-served private room hostel style place. We had the budget two person room with a bunk bed and the 6 person room with 3 bunk beds. The rooms are simple but comfortable and comes with clean sheets to put on the beds ourselves. The 6 person room has its own private bathroom and the 2 person room shares 2 bathrooms with 2 other rooms on the third floor. There are also two self-served kitchens that is equipped with plenty of easy to make breakfasts like eggs, butter, yogurt, chocolate and various spreads, fresh bread, milk, as well as coffee pods and teas. The internet is strong and has various connecting points, perfect for working. The staff are friendly and helpful prior and during my stay as well, which was much appreciated!
