Offering a terrace and views of the garden, La Maïoun Guesthouse is situated in Nice in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, 500 metres from the beach. Dare I say this was one of my favorite accommodations throughout all the years of solo traveling. Staff really cared about the place, providing fresh free breakfast for everyone, place was exceptionally clean, cozy and very authentic in my view. I stayed at female dorm with 6 beds and it was very quiet. Location was amazing, 8 minutes by walk from the main beach.

Hotel Ozz by Happyculture (ex Normandie) is a hotel located in the city center of Nice, a 2-minute walk from Nice-Ville Train Station and a 15-minute walk from the beach. Clean. Safe. Five minute walk from the train station. I would stay again. Free coffee. Beds have privacy curtains.

O Meyerbeer Hostel está localizado apenas a 50 metros da praia e do famoso Passeio dos Ingleses. A praça principal e a estação ferroviária principal ficam a 10 minutos a pé. Ficamos no apartamento e era simplesmente incrível, muito bem equipado, limpo e a 2 quarteirões da praia, com um ótimo ar condicionado que é essencial para esta época do ano. Auto check in facil , tudo ótimo.

O Antares hostel está situado em Nice, a 15 minutos a pé da praia e a 170 metros da Estação Ferroviária de Nice Ville. I have been to many hostels. This one is one of the best I've ever stayed in. The location is perfect. The facilities are top. I like that there are 2 additional toilets, so you dont need to wait if your roommate is using the private bathroom. There are plenty of chairs in the common area so it's perfect for "work from away" activities. I find the "locker" underneath the bed genius! I didnt expect to get a new towel everyday, so thats definitely great.

Villa Saint Exupéry Beach Hostel is in central Nice, just 200 metres from Nice's Old Town and the beaches. Free facilities available include WiFi access, a fitness centre, lockers, luggage storage. Very good hotel. Clean and with perfect amenities. The hostel offers a kitchen, a large number of tables on two floors, where visitors can eat or have fun. There is also a small gym, which is free. Luggage storage before check-in and after check-out is also free. In addition, the hostel provides a free shared bathroom for anyone who would like to take a shower at any time after checking out. The hostel is located in the center of Nice near the old town and the beach. The train station and bus station are also not far from the hostel. Perhaps a small drawback is that the beds themselves are a bit short for tall people, like me, but they would definitely be uncomfortable for people over 190 cm tall. Overall, the beds are comfortable. For those arriving from the airport, I recommend not buying a ticket right away, since the ticket is 10 euros at both terminals. The transport from Terminal 1, as well as from the distant Terminal 2 to the Grand Arenas stop is free. You can buy a ticket to Nice for only 1.70 euros. In case you don't have a lot of luggage and you like walking, you can get from the airport to the center on foot.
