Attractively located in the centre of Playa del Carmen, SUUT Hostal Boutique features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Staff is very kind and helpful , especially that one from Argentina! Perfect location, amazing breakfast (only 2 of days was more basic) ! Will come again!

Also one of the only places that features a pool that is clean and taken care of. Some people are worried that the location is not central enough to the beach or tourist areas. That is actually a bonus. You live amongst the locals, shop and eat where locals do and visit places around you with only local prices and experiences. Of course one wants to experience the beaches with all its waterfront activities. You can easily get there by renting a bike from the hostel (10 min), walk there (35 min), or take a colectivo close by for 10 pesos (5 min) When you are done after a busy day, you can retrieve to the quiet tranquil comfort of Humanity. Bonus features include a 360 degrees open rooftop that allows you to watch sunrise and sunset over the jungle, with everything in between. You can plan your own days and nights, or you can join the daily activities the hostels offers. Each activity is fun but has a local community involvement which makes the experience even more authentic. Any questions you have about anything during your stay will gladly be answered for you to make your stay as stress free and comfortable. Mayan Monkey Tulum - Social Hotel features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a bar and garden in Tulum. Great hostel that feels more like a hotel. It‘s very spacious and clean and the food they offer is really good, too. They also have a nice coworking space. I was afraid it would be too much of a party hostel, but that wasn‘t the case because even though it can get quite loud outside, you don‘t hear a thing in the dorms because they are so far away from the terrace.

Set in the centre of Playa del Carmen, Hostal CASA MX quinta avenida is situated 400 metres from Playa del Carmen Beach and less than 1 km from ADO International Bus Station. Employees were very friendly and professional .Location on the fifth avenue . Rooms were clean. Great view from the terraza.

Maui Hostels Tulum features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Tulum. Everyone on staff was kind, welcoming, and helpful. I stayed in a shared room that was clean and I loved the softness of the sheets and the bed was super comfortable. I also love that they don't try to cut costs with rigid A/C rules and actually care that guests are taken care of and feel comfortable in the room. Aside from that, the atmosphere in Maui is great! As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and happy in all spaces on the property. Everyone, including long-term guests, are lovely people. They made it feel like a happy home! They always greeted me when I left for the day and when I returned. Special shoutout to Alleryn, Fabi, and Humberto who were extra attentive and were always looking out for me. And Pablo for always making sure the room was clean and tidy. Another bonus is the presence of Peter and Chicha, two of the sweetest furry friends one could ever ask for.

Situated in Puerto Morelos and with Playa Puerto Morelos reachable within 300 metres, Hostal Cuca Macuca features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi throughout... I really like the location, it is a nice place to relax. The receptionist is so friendly and kind. The kitchen is very clean and the rooftop view is amazing. Literally very comfortable and highly recommended

We playa Hotel - Adults Only has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Playa del Carmen. Budget friendly stay. The staff was really helpful, they took great care of me. The rooms were clean and definitely noise free. WiFi was really amazing. And I won't forget about the breakfast. Would recommend anyone who will come Playa Del.
