Facing the beachfront in Guayabas, Porã Chacahua features a private beach area and a bar. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi. This place was absolutely stunning and so so relaxing!! I went as a solo traveler and found that the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Shoutout to volunteers Gary and Lana for always being helpful and kind! I also am a surfer and thought the distance from the break would bother me but, in the end the walk along the beach was nice, and the collectivos ran frequently so I didn’t mind it in the end.

Staff were all excellent, accommodating our late arrival and even getting our laundry finished for us before check out the following morning. Wish we could have stayed longer

Casa Lumaya is set in Brisas de Zicatela. The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from Zicatela Beach. At the hostel, every room has a desk. The rooms were great. The host was very kind and welcoming, made a lovely breakfast for us.

Boasting a garden, Tabachin del Puerto is situated in Brisas de Zicatela in the Oaxaca region, 500 metres from Zicatela Beach. The hostel has an outdoor swimming pool and a shared kitchen. Super close to the ocean, special place with it's own unique atmosphere. Friendly staff and quiet area. Has been used by many authors so there are books everywhere. Recommended for something out of the ordinary!

Casa Angel Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Oaxaca City. Most social hostel I've ever been to. They really make an effort to plan activities and make the atmosphere fun for everyone. Great happy hour on the rooftop. I like that people actually respected the 11 pm quiet rule. Customer service was top notch. Loved that there were several bathrooms which were all clean and had hot water.

Ideally set in the centre of Oaxaca City, Hostal Nordés features free WiFi, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. Good location, clean hotel and nice terrace. Bed are slightly uncomfortable but your getting good value for the price you pay.
