Located in Puerto Escondido, a few steps from Zicatela Beach, Secret Spot by Palapita Beach House features a terrace, a restaurant and a bar, as well as free WiFi. The hostel is newly build/renovated, with a bar. The bar is right at beach, all food/drinks are super tasty and hostel clients get a 10% off. There will be a volunteer/staff speaking English at reception, helping with check-in/out and related services. One of my favorites is that they will open AirCondition if you require it during day time. All staffs are super nice and friendly, me and my friend enjoyed our stay and if there's another chance will definitely go!

Facing the beachfront in Guayabas, Porã Chacahua features a private beach area and a bar. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Lovely, well kept place with a great taste with finishing details. Great ambience and superb staff. Warm recommendations!

La Casona Hostel in Puerto Escondido provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace. The peacefulness in the place, the comfortable beds and the really helpful staff

Casa Frutas y Verduras features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Puerto Escondido. Location is fantastic, really close to the beach: we were able to even go get some water or to the bathroom while on the beach. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful, made our stay extra comfortable. The place is chic and beautiful while feeling private and restful. There is music during the day but we did not find it to be an issue.

Casa Antonio Mazunte features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Mazunte. Best room I’ve stayed in in Mexico.

Casa Lumaya is set in Brisas de Zicatela. The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from Zicatela Beach. At the hostel, every room has a desk. I loved staying at Casa Lumaya que rooms have everything you need in puerto and they are very clean. The host is so lovely and cooked us traditional breakfast everything morning. I will definitely stayed again there if I am again in puerto!

Boasting a garden, Tabachin del Puerto is situated in Brisas de Zicatela in the Oaxaca region, 500 metres from Zicatela Beach. The hostel has an outdoor swimming pool and a shared kitchen. Unique, the tiles that decorate all corners of the building and rooms make it such a cool place, lush nature, books all over the place! Very quiet. Chill in the pool, pick a beer from the shared kitchen area

Casa Angel Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Oaxaca City. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The staff were friendly and always helpful, especially Nahiani at reception. There were activities on most evenings, which made it easy to meet people, and I made some great friends during my stay. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Ideally set in the centre of Oaxaca City, Hostal Nordés features free WiFi, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. The staff was fantastic, super helpful every time. There’s free coffee in the lobby. The location is great, very close to the center. The room and bathroom were clean. The hostal has a nice rooftop terrace.
