Located in Puerto Escondido, a few steps from Zicatela Beach, Secret Spot by Palapita Beach House features a terrace, a restaurant and a bar, as well as free WiFi. A few minutes from the beach, everything was clean and especially the staff made me feel welcomed. Belen made me feel welcomed and adviced me on many things. Thank you Belen!

Facing the beachfront in Guayabas, Porã Chacahua features a private beach area and a bar. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Pora is pretty much heaven on earth! The third day when we came back after a good surf the kids shouted: we are home! That's how feels, what a place. We had two tipi's, one for the kids and one for us. The breakfast was amazing, the communal kitchen the best on the island (we tried a couple ;)) and the sunset cocktails the best (again, we tried a couple ;)).Steffi and Alex feel like family just like the great volunteers. I have this gut feeling this stay will be a key memory for our family, what a gift!

Casa Antonio Mazunte features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Mazunte. The BEST hostel beds!!! I’ve been to so many hostels around the world, and this bed was incredible. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and you can actually get to know them. It was a very comfortable place to stay and worth it

Casa Lumaya is set in Brisas de Zicatela. The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from Zicatela Beach. At the hostel, every room has a desk. The rooms were great. The host was very kind and welcoming, made a lovely breakfast for us.

Boasting a garden, Tabachin del Puerto is situated in Brisas de Zicatela in the Oaxaca region, 500 metres from Zicatela Beach. The hostel has an outdoor swimming pool and a shared kitchen. Beautiful aesthetic and very wonderful staff!

Casa Angel Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Oaxaca City. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The staff were friendly and always helpful, especially Nahiani at reception. There were activities on most evenings, which made it easy to meet people, and I made some great friends during my stay. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Ideally set in the centre of Oaxaca City, Hostal Nordés features free WiFi, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. As two 70-something women, we were a little nervous about staying at a “hostel”. But are worries quickly subsided. Our stay was wonderful! Great value, location and friendly staff.
