Location is fantastic, really close to the beach: we were able to even go get some water or to the bathroom while on the beach. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful, made our stay extra comfortable. The place is chic and beautiful while feeling private and restful. There is music during the day but we did not find it to be an issue.

Casa Angel Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Oaxaca City. Most social hostel I've ever been to. They really make an effort to plan activities and make the atmosphere fun for everyone. Great happy hour on the rooftop. I like that people actually respected the 11 pm quiet rule. Customer service was top notch. Loved that there were several bathrooms which were all clean and had hot water.

Ideally set in the centre of Oaxaca City, Hostal Nordés features free WiFi, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. Hostal Nordés offered me and my partner a most wonderful stay. The room was clean, spacious, with all the facilities promised, including hot water (for a 15-minute period at a time, and only between 6am and 11pm; understandable given the water stress of the region), and high pressure water. The staff was very helpful and prompt in helping us when we needed. The terrace on top of the building is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views over the city. Highly recommend it!
