Stayed here for two weeks and absolutely loved it. The place is new, modern, spotless, and full of thoughtful little touches. Huge shoutout to the cleaning crew and the front desk staff — friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel genuinely taken care of. This was my first-ever hostel stay — straight off my bucket list — and multiple seasoned hostel travellers told me I was very lucky with my first choice. Would definitely come back!

Elmar Hostel is gelegen in Bacalar, en biedt gratis fietsen. Er is een terras en je kunt er gebruik van maken gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Kamers bij het hostel hebben een koffiezetapparaat. Excellent staff and location facing the lagoon, breakfast included, bicycles, and kayaks! I recommend the sunrise tours from the hostel.

Kin Hostal and Camping bevindt zich in Holbox, op 16 minuten lopen van Playa Holbox, en biedt conciërgediensten, kamers, een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een terras. For me, this place was the perfect place to stay at on Holbox. It's an easy walk from the center, but far enough to be super quiet and peaceful. It's small but social, easy going, clean, very friendly people working here and the tents were comfortable. I liked the common area, perfect to chill in a hammock or have a chat with the other guests. The kitchen was well organized too. Just around the corner is a little market where you can buy fresh fruits and food, also a nice alternative from all the restaurants in the center.

Casa Universo Holbox is gelegen in Holbox, op 8 minuten lopen van Playa Holbox, en biedt een excursiebalie, rookvrije kamers, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een terras. The host was very helpful and always available. They have bikes for rental at 30 pesos ($1.6) per hour, so very decent pricing. The room was so spacious! Almost every hotel we stayed at had only HOT or COLD water, nothing in between. This was literally the only place that actually had warm water which was amazing! The hammock was so comfy that came with the bed. There was a shared kitchen with pots and pans, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. She even had free water which most places did not have any. They had AC too which was lovely. It was also only a block or two from the ferry, super nice when we had to leave in the morning.

The staff and the vibe was amazing. They were very friendly and made me feel like I was home. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel bar was nice. Location was good, it's close to where colectivos are passing. I loved my 7 day stay, I would definitely come back and recommend it to all solo travelers.

Hostel Humanity - Puerto Morelos ligt in Puerto Morelos, op 33 km van Internationaal busstation ADO, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge.... What I appreciated. First the welcoming of Juana and Lucas, the staff. I arrived early, so Lucas, while I was waiting for the bed, offered me a beer, on the cosy area near a small swimming pool. Comfortable bed, big room, nice bathroom, use of the kitchen. The owner was helpful with info, from the messages before arrival to the hints about town, beach, travel to airport... The view from the terrace was great, specially at sunset. I enjoyed my short stay.

Ukayil heeft accommodatie in Bacalar. Alle kamers bij het hostel hebben een eigen badkamer en beddengoed. Vliegveld Internationale luchthaven Chetumal ligt op 34 km van de accommodatie. Spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, nice extra touches like coffee, water and a small fridge, walking distance to everything you need. Would definitely recommend Ukayil!

Mayan Monkey Tulum - Social Hotel ligt in Tulum en beschikt over een restaurant, een buitenzwembad, een bar en een tuin. Dit was het leukste hostel waar ik in Mexico verbleef. Attent en geïnteresseerd personeel, goede opzet. Elke avond draait er een dj en is er een activiteit, maar ondanks de harde muziek en hoeveelheid mensen, heerlijk geslapen, omdat de slaapzalen zich in een ander gedeelte bevinden. Kussen en bed was goed, en douche was ook erg fijn. Enorm veel leuke mensen ontmoet. Gemiddelde leeftijd van mensen is ook niet te jong. Mocht ik nog een keer naar Tulum gaan, dan kom ik hier zeker terug.

Mayan Monkey Cancun - Social Hotel bevindt zich in Cancun, op 2 minuten lopen van Playa Chacmool, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Realy nice location, facilities, everything was clean and comfortable.
