It feels like something out of a Wes Anderson movie - every detail is so thoughtfully designed. We booked a private room, which was beautiful and spacious, with a stunning bathroom, but honestly, the whole vibe of the place makes also the shared rooms look very appealing 💕 It’s not right in the center, but with Uber being so affordable here, getting around was super easy and never an issue. The girls at the reception were all incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we were having a great time. A special shoutout to Jo, who gave us so many great tips 🙏🏼 We truly hope to come back here again someday!

I would have stayed for weeks if I could. The breakfasts are unbelievably good and served with kindness and chats. I'd highly recommend Casa Xtakay, my favorite accommodation in mexico so far.

Hostel had a nice mix of different areas - by the pool and rooftop - to socialize or chill. Free coffee and breakfast of eggs was a treat. Staff were super helpful - helped me book a scooter rental and gave me coupons for discounts at the cenotes.
