Homy Seafront Hostel is situated in Kota Kinabalu, within 3.6 km of Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village and 5.4 km of North Borneo Railway. It was super clean and people were more than nice!! It was my birthday and i even git a present and a birthday cake 😍😍 i enjoyed my stay a lot!! And i slept in the softest sheets ever! 😍😍

Faloe Hostel is set in Kota Kinabalu, within 1.8 km of Filipino Market Sabah and 4.1 km of Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village. Due to some unexpected events I stayed at Faloe Hostel for almost two weeks. I met many travelers who previously also stayed at different hostels in town and said that Faloe Hostel was better. The community is quite close. Most travelers were solo travelers like me and happy to connect with people. I felt very welcome and appreciated by the staff. They were always really friendly and helpful. The hostel is really clean! While I stayed there they steamed the matresses and beds twice, which is amazing.

8 km from Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, The Wheelhouse is situated in Kuching and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It is in the city centre and the host is incredibly kind and helpful

Located in Semporna, Project X Scuba offers a shared lounge. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. What a beautiful place run by the most lovely Malays. The place is impeccably clean and super efficiently run. It is close to all ammenities and they can even book all the tours for you and will shortly be running their own scuba diving programs. I would highly recommend staying here if only just to experience Malay hospitality at it finest.

The owner was very welcoming and hospitable, during our stay we had a great time there! We also had the pleasure meeting other guests, lovely people!! Staying in this place was the highlight of our trip

Located within 5.6 km of Filipino Market Sabah and 400 metres of North Borneo Railway, Dazzle Home Aeropod provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Tanjong Aru. Spacious & cozy room. Seems spotless, but there's a baby cockroach inside my room, still alive. Very hard to catch 😂

Concrete Jungle Cabin is set in Kota Kinabalu, within 4.1 km of Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village and 5.2 km of Likas City Mosque. I loved how comfy the bed is. The showers and toilets were separated and kept clean by the care takers. Though I have to keep quite all the time as the dorm was also occupied with other travellers. I checked in quite late and stayed only for 6 hours and prior to my late arrival, as the reception is only available for 12 hours, the management sent me a message on Booking for self check-in which was so convenient and great especially for a late check-in. Thank you for the auntie who was there to help me out as well. Loved her vibe! Place is situated at the heart of Gaya Street, right in front of Jesselton Hotel and quite close to Wisma Merdeka (which was my main purpose to go there). I'm grateful for the locker underneath. Got to store my luggage inside safely, whilst I roam around the street. Affordable? Definitely Location? Yes Clean and comfortable? Yes Would I book here again? Yes

AeCOTEL Mingle Hostel is located in Sandakan. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and organising tours for guests. Excellent location rhought the hostel is quite quiet. Only saw other travelers briefly in the morning. Good kitchen. Great to have washer and dryer use.

DZ Backpackers provides air-conditioned accommodation in Semporna. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. At the hostel, the rooms have a balcony. I like all. Seriously this is the best hostel I ever stay. The staff so helpful.. The place so clean.. I wish there is more hostel like this around Malaysia
