Central location but in the rooms it wasn’t as noisy as I expected. Room was air conditioned and quiet, I slept well. Everything is clean. Plus, I was allowed to bring my bicycle in and leave it in the entrance area and the guy from the reception even helped me to carry it to the 1st floor. Thank you very much!

The warm welcome, food recommendations, and local bike tour from Wenesa were outstanding. The facilities were all clean and very well maintained considering the age of the building. The common areas were very cosy and comfy, and you really felt at home. It's a great place to stay and base yourself around Ipoh and a gateway to the Cameron Highlands. Cannot recommend this hostel enough.

Situated in Pasir Bogak and within 1.5 km of Pasir Bogak Beach, ShopLot Hostel Pangkor has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Good wifi; spacious rooms; there are lockers for valuables; hot water; very clean; the stuff is always nice and helpful; good location (20 min walk to the nearest beach; restaurants and shop nearby-1-2 min walk; 15 min walk to jetty area and the duty free shops/banks/more shops and restaurants); the stuff can help you with a taxi if u need it; scooters rental everywhere (I did not use this service); free water and instant coffee; TV in the common area; i had the room with a balcony facing the street (can be a little noisy, but i was ok). Although the rooms are mixed, because there are not many tourists, the stuff put us in rooms girls with girls and men with men. Maybe this won’t be possible if the rooms are full. It was possible when I was there.

Not my first time staying here yet not going to be the last one too. My regular transit spot every time I'm in Ipoh. From a guest becoming more like a friend nowadays visiting this place. Friendly and lovely young lady owner. Highly recommended for short and long term stays.

Water pressure was great. Facilities is good. Each bed has small lamp and power to charge phone. Each bed has its own cabinets and tables.
