The air conditioning worked perfectly, and I really appreciated having a washing machine and a space to hang clothes. There’s a fire extinguisher in the hallway, and the entrance is secured with two iron gates. The room uses a traditional key lock, and the host is always present at the property, which makes it feel very safe. Downstairs, the roti keju paired with curry sauce and sambal was surprisingly delicious. The food court he recommended had a great variety—loved the smooth draft beer, the light and tasty Hakka tofu, the tender and flavorful lamb satay, and the Singapore-style fried vermicelli was also quite good. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great local tips and hospitality.

Despite the hostel having other rooms, they were all in other levels so it was quiet. We ended up staying again when we came back to KK at the end of our trip. It was too good! The location was very convenient being next to the shopping centre. Perfect for buying travelling essentials, eating or just strolling.
