The interior design of the place is very comfy and feels like home. There are a lot of board games as well so I didnt feel bored. Everything was clean, and the room had everything I needed — plus really good air conditioning. Most of all, I want to highlight the excellent service from all the staff and how comfortable they made me feel. In particular, the receptionist on duty at the time, Rose. I really appreciated her availability and willingness to help with everything I asked — and not just for me, but for the other guests as well.

Housed in a colonial building, Mingle Kuala Lumpur offers accommodation in the heart of Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur. Guests can enjoy a drink at the in-house cafe. Probably one of the best things about KL was this hostel. The social experience I had was remarkable, the people, staff, location and atmosphere were absolutely amazing. Highly recommended if you’re planning to stay in KL. Can’t wait to get there again once I’m back in KL.

We had a double room with our own bathroom and that was soo comfy! It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. There were two bottles of water, a kettle and coffee (plus mugs) in the room. The bathroom was tiny but still comfortable and there they provided toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and body gel. In the lobby (which is also nice to hang out) is a water dispenser and a great terrace. The hostel is located right at petaling street. Perfect!
