Chameleon Backpackers is well-staffed and organized, with clean rooms and a good breakfast. We had a bunch of laundry to clean, and they did 6-7 loads at a decent price. We walked to Pizzeria Sicillia for dinner and loved it. This was the last few days of our Namibia trip, but lots of tours and activities could be booked through the hostel, if you wanted.

Friendly and supportive staff. The receptionist(Candice) went out of her way to make my stay as comfortable as possible.24 hour security staff was also very helpful and friendly.If you're on a budget stay, I would recommend Esperanca GH Shopping center (OK shopping )about 5 mins walk from Guesthouse.Safe and quiet neighborhood.

Lovely guest house with spacious, comfortable rooms and a great outdoor courtyard. Great location in Klein Windhoek within walking distance to several restaurants. Very safe. The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was excellent.

Chameleon Backpackers & Guesthouse is a great hostel for those looking to stay close to Windhoek's city centre. The room was spacious and comfortable for my friend and I. The common area, pool, and kitchen was clean and inviting. Staff were friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle arrived on time and brought us safety to the hotel.
