The owners Daniela & Tony went above and beyond for their guests to make sure we were all comfortable and had everything for our stay. Beds in the dorm were comfortable, bathroom was clean, everyone had a fan, drinking water provided, hammocks, a delicious affordable breakfast was also an option which I highly recommend! The location was close to the ferry port, it was very easy to explore other parts of the island by renting a scooter.

Objekt La Urraca Loca Hostel smješten je u gradu 'Balgue' te ima vrt, terasu, bar ibesplatan WiFi u cijelom objektu. We had an amazing stay at La Urraca Loca. The location on the island is perfect for most activities. The hostel is an oasis of beautiful plants and the rooms are great. Also Daniel is very helpful and attentive. I’ve recommended this hostel to everyone who visits Ometepe since it is probably my favorite on in my two months in Central-America. Also shoutout to the lovely kitten Gnocchi (such a good name.. ;))

Really friendly and helpful staff, good food, fun Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Theme. Nice location, walking distance to town/the ferry but quiet and away from the commotion.

Objekt Cocos Hostel smješten je u gradu 'Moyogalpa' te ima vrt, zajednički salon, terasu ibesplatan WiFi u cijelom objektu. Staff was so kind, room was clean and comfortable with a fan for each bed, location was perfect for getting on the ferry the next day and they are able to help set up rides/excursions. Excellent value for the price, would definitely stay again!

El Zopilote Permaculture Farm/hostel is a backpackers hostel and a permaculture farm at the same time. We offer various types of hospitality like private rooms, dormitories, camping areas and... The place is completely located in nature. It’s so lovely and beautiful. They have nice activities! I love the permaculture project and the 2hours-free yoga every morning. I also really liked the mushroom tour and the pizza night with psytrance music. You also can rent scooter and go to the waterfalls. The stuff and the volunteers are super nice and helpful and the food is super delicious.

Objekt Hostal Casa Moreno u gradu 'Moyogalpa' ima vanjski bazen, vrt, zajednički salon i terasu. Ovaj hostel s 3 zvjezdice nudi bar. Everything was great! Super nice and helpful staff. Helped us organize tours and transport. Breakfast was great. We will come again.

Objekt Raindance nalazi se u gradu 'Santa Cruz' te nudi smještaj uz plažu, na 19 min hoda od znamenitosti Plaža Santo Domingo, a nudi razne sadržaje kao što su vanjski bazen, vrt i bar. It’s social and the dorms and the bed are really nice with a lot of privacy

Objekt Rainbow Caravan Hostel smješten je u gradu 'Las Pilas', na 17 km od znamenitosti Vulkan Maderas, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži vrt, besplatno privatno parkiralište, zajednički salon i bar. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.
