The location on the island is perfect for most activities. The hostel is an oasis of beautiful plants and the rooms are great. Also Daniel is very helpful and attentive. I’ve recommended this hostel to everyone who visits Ometepe since it is probably my favorite on in my two months in Central-America. Also shoutout to the lovely kitten Gnocchi (such a good name.. ;))

Having a nice big kitchen and fire pit makes it feel like home. The animals and the fruit trees. The stories about each of the caravans. If your looking for a vibe this is it!

Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.

El Pital, Chocolate Paradise tem jardim, área de praia privativa, terraço e restaurante em Balgue. A acomodação oferece bar e serviços de massagem. The property was so nice. It was in nature with a jungle vibe but also very clean. The food was amazing! I stayed in the 10 bed dorm and it was very big and comfortable. The vibe was relaxed as well. There isn’t a common area but rather everyone hangs out by the water in the restaurant but as a solo traveller I met some great people just in the dorm. The staff are also very friendly. If you’re a party person, this isn’t the hostel for you. If you want to relax in a nice place surrounded by nature, this is the place for you.
