The location on the island is perfect for most activities. The hostel is an oasis of beautiful plants and the rooms are great. Also Daniel is very helpful and attentive. I’ve recommended this hostel to everyone who visits Ometepe since it is probably my favorite on in my two months in Central-America. Also shoutout to the lovely kitten Gnocchi (such a good name.. ;))

As the name implies, Life is Good, and they do a great job of showing that through their care of the hostel, the guests, and the overall vibe of the place.

Staff was so kind, room was clean and comfortable with a fan for each bed, location was perfect for getting on the ferry the next day and they are able to help set up rides/excursions. Excellent value for the price, would definitely stay again!

El Zopilote Permaculture Farm/hostel adalah hostel backpacker dan sebuah peternakan permakultur pada saat yang sama. El Zopilote is a unique place! The gardens are beautiful, and I loved learning about their oyster mushroom cultivation. i loved yoga, tours, and pizza night! The atmosphere was friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

Terletak di Las Pilas, 17 km dari Gunung Berapi Maderas, Rainbow Caravan Hostel menawarkan akomodasi dengan taman, parkir pribadi gratis, lounge bersama, dan bar. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.
