Nice, relaxing place right next to the lake. About 10-15 minutes walk to the ferry or town centre. The rooms are very clean. Daniella and Tony are super nice and friendly. You can also have nice meals and laundry done.

I fell in love with Ometepe and this ended up being the perfect spot. Wonderful people, wonder place and a great price. A special mention to Luis at the hostel. I forgot to collect my passport after handing it as security on my quad bike and he done some digging for me to find someone who could bring it safely to Granada for me. Excellent service throughout. I just know i will be back. I have a friend visiting soon and i will no doubt recommend he stays at this location.

Excellent atmosphere, very spacious privates and the owners are lovely. They can organise anything for you, scooters, hikes ect.

Staff was so kind, room was clean and comfortable with a fan for each bed, location was perfect for getting on the ferry the next day and they are able to help set up rides/excursions. Excellent value for the price, would definitely stay again!

El Zopilote Permaculture Farm/hostel is a backpackers hostel and a permaculture farm at the same time. We offer various types of hospitality like private rooms, dormitories, camping areas and... Such a special place! The permaculture and mushroom tours taught me so much. It’s more than a hostel—it’s a whole experience. Great food, peaceful yoga, and beautiful jungle all around.

Nastanitev Raindance se nahaja ob obali v mestu Santa Cruz, 19 min hoje od znamenitosti Plaža Playa de Santo Domingo, in ponuja zunanji bazen, vrt ter bar. The pool was a real staple, always clean and a perfect temperature. The cages to sleep in were great to keep the mosquitos out.

Nastanitev Rainbow Caravan Hostel je v mestu Las Pilas, 17 km od znamenitosti vulkan Maderas, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter bar. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

It’s a bit aside from the port city Moyogalpa, so it’s very calm and almost no cars and people here, but still easy to reach by foot from the Centre (15 min walk). It has breakfast included and it’s home cooked food by the family. My room was very spacious, with 1 double and 1 single bed. They had outlets outside and inside, so i could work online here. Ask for both WiFi passwords! The host family was very nice and always tried to help, like when I needed a dentist they found a number. They don’t speak English (as most locals here) but with my broken Spanish and google translate we always understood each other. You can also ask them about the laundry option. Thanks for hosting me!

Nastanitev B&B, family run homestay, Hospedaje La Penita se nahaja v mestu Altagracia, 16 km od znamenitosti vulkan Maderas, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje... Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.
