Luis the guy from the reception are super friendly. I highly recommend....

As the name implies, Life is Good, and they do a great job of showing that through their care of the hostel, the guests, and the overall vibe of the place.

Staff was so kind, room was clean and comfortable with a fan for each bed, location was perfect for getting on the ferry the next day and they are able to help set up rides/excursions. Excellent value for the price, would definitely stay again!

El Zopilote Permaculture Farm/hostel is a backpackers hostel and a permaculture farm at the same time. We offer various types of hospitality like private rooms, dormitories, camping areas and... To be in this beautiful foodforest-nature whilst staying in a hostel. Wonderful workshops. Really liked the people and the volunteers. Just the work that got into this place to offer a self sustainable, green energy hostel. Stayed way longer than expected.

Nastanitev Rainbow Caravan Hostel je v mestu Las Pilas, 17 km od znamenitosti vulkan Maderas, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter bar. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

Nastanitev B&B, family run homestay, Hospedaje La Penita se nahaja v mestu Altagracia, 16 km od znamenitosti vulkan Maderas, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje... Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.
