Loved every bit of it and I think they are travellers themselves because some details were already arranged in the rooms and the facilities. I felt pretty relaxed in the hostel and the people who run it and work for it organised the activities I wanted.

Really friendly and helpful staff, good food, fun Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Theme. Nice location, walking distance to town/the ferry but quiet and away from the commotion.

Staff was so kind, room was clean and comfortable with a fan for each bed, location was perfect for getting on the ferry the next day and they are able to help set up rides/excursions. Excellent value for the price, would definitely stay again!

El Zopilote Permaculture Farm/hostel is a backpackers hostel and a permaculture farm at the same time. We offer various types of hospitality like private rooms, dormitories, camping areas and... I loved everything about this place, highly recommend the Permaculture Tour to learn the reason to every detail. It felt great to know that I were staying in a solar powered, water saving, farm to table hostel and that my being a tourist was not harming Ometepe Island. Hoped that I could always choose place like this during my travels... The highlights for me were: - Gorgeous green nature everywhere - Food - salads!!! Finally good some greens! - Pizza - Compost toilets - Natural buildings - Yoga classes

Nastanitev Hostal Casa Moreno se nahaja v mestu Moyogalpa in ima zunanji bazen, vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. Hostel s 3 zvezdicami nudi bar. This stay was great for the price that we paid for two air conditioned rooms. The rooms were very accommodating for our travel group of 5 ppl in one family room and 1 person in the other private room.Great restaurants in walking distance. Staff at the hostel is very friendly and helpful. Eventhough, we paid for air conditioning in the rooms- there was also two great fans to circulate the cold air 😇 there is also parking at the hostel for personal vehicle or motorcycles Upon seeing other hostels in the area this one looked far superior and unique .

Nastanitev Raindance se nahaja ob obali v mestu Santa Cruz, 19 min hoje od znamenitosti Plaža Playa de Santo Domingo, in ponuja zunanji bazen, vrt ter bar. We stayed in The Dash. a private cabana with its own plunge pool! Great bed. Good AC. Coffee,tea etc. Loved it.

Nastanitev Rainbow Caravan Hostel je v mestu Las Pilas, 17 km od znamenitosti vulkan Maderas, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter bar. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

It’s a bit aside from the port city Moyogalpa, so it’s very calm and almost no cars and people here, but still easy to reach by foot from the Centre (15 min walk). It has breakfast included and it’s home cooked food by the family. My room was very spacious, with 1 double and 1 single bed. They had outlets outside and inside, so i could work online here. Ask for both WiFi passwords! The host family was very nice and always tried to help, like when I needed a dentist they found a number. They don’t speak English (as most locals here) but with my broken Spanish and google translate we always understood each other. You can also ask them about the laundry option. Thanks for hosting me!

Nastanitev B&B, family run homestay, Hospedaje La Penita se nahaja v mestu Altagracia, 16 km od znamenitosti vulkan Maderas, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje... Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.
