Nice, relaxing place right next to the lake. About 10-15 minutes walk to the ferry or town centre. The rooms are very clean. Daniella and Tony are super nice and friendly. You can also have nice meals and laundry done.

Hostel Clandestino Maderas ligger i Playa Maderas og har en hage, fellesstue, terrasse og gratis WiFi. I basically loved everything! The outdoor space was so nice and beautiful - perfect place to relax and do nothing. The kitchen was clean and we enjoyed dinner together every night after sunset. Talking about the sunset - wow! It was so beautiful. The beach is great for surfing. I'd recommend surf lessons from Rebelde surf. Do yourself a favor and bring all the grocery you'll need for your stay.

La Urraca Loca Hostel tilbyr en hage, terrasse, en restaurant og bar i Balgue. Overnattingsstedet har grillutstyr og ligger 12 kilometer fra Maderas-vulkanen. I fell in love with Ometepe and this ended up being the perfect spot. Wonderful people, wonder place and a great price. A special mention to Luis at the hostel. I forgot to collect my passport after handing it as security on my quad bike and he done some digging for me to find someone who could bring it safely to Granada for me. Excellent service throughout. I just know i will be back. I have a friend visiting soon and i will no doubt recommend he stays at this location.

Great accommodation, all the amenities were clean and comfortable. Located close to the tide pools, which was a highlight of our stay!

I Popoyo, et steinkast fra Popoyo-stranden, ligger Viento Este Guest House, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en bar. Had a smashing time at Viento Este. Simple, clean beach living. I stayed here for a month with zero complaints. Nico made it feel like home. Easy access to the brilliant pizza restaurant three times a week was a bonus! Highly recommend!

I Moyogalpa, 39 kilometer fra Maderas-vulkanen, ligger Hostel Life is Good, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Excellent atmosphere, very spacious privates and the owners are lovely. They can organise anything for you, scooters, hikes ect.

I San Juan del Sur, 3 minutters gange fra Marsella-stranden, ligger Hostal Villas Mexico, som har et sesongåpent utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. We booked with Hostal Villas Mexico because it was budget friendly and close to Maderas. At first we felt a little out of place because no one spoke a lick on English and there were no other English speaking travellers there either, but as we were exploring the place a couple of ladies who work there introduced them selves and took the time to show us around and patiently dealt with our bad Spanish as we tried to communicate how appreciative we were that they were showing us the beautiful land. Apart from the free breakfast and coffee they had already made us, they also made us the most delicious fried fish rice and chips for lunch, and invited us for dinner! They were so accommodating lovely and sweet! I sadly can’t remember all their names…. Maria, Janet? I think haha And…. Gosh I don’t remember but three main ladies seem to run the joint and they are awesome! We joked around, got hugs, and it ended up being a very lovely stay. Cabana #2 was sooo clean, had a mini fridge, air conditioning, super comfy bed, tv with cable with lots of movies you can swap to English, Clean ensuite that provided plenty of TP, clean towels soap and shampoo. We Felt super safe and secure, as there is security at the front gate, and again breakfast, coffee and packed lunch included (though we had ours there) it was great! Very quiet and chill and surrounded by lots of trees and plants and they are adding more diversity and plants all around, can’t wait to revisit in 10 years to see how it looks! Super super close to marsella and 5 minute Moto ride to Maderas.

Nalu Nalu Hostel ligger i San Juan del Sur, 1 minutters gange fra San Juan del Sur-stranden, og har en hage, røykfrie rom og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. Great spot. Quiet but still enough people around to meet and explore with. Hosts are accommodating
