The Alibi Hostel is located in the old prison in the city centre of Leeuwarden. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There is a shared kitchen, hairdresser's, and gift shop at the property. They sell a certain feeling during your stay. The former style of the original jail was renovated, renewed and formed in a building that combines actual hostel-comfort with the older times of crime, murder and punishment. The doors, floors and the construction of Block H is like in 1847 when the prision was built. Closed in 2007, well done. We had an unforgetable and a pleasant stay with our kids.
