Vikingskipet Hotell

The hostel is located along the road E6, 3 km outside Hamar and 120 km north of Oslo. The neighbouring Vikingskipet Arena was a 1994 Winter Olympics venue. Today, it hosts various sports, concerts and exhibitions. Very good breakfast, great staff, very helpful and friendly.

Nice personnel, clean room, and good energy in the place. I slept like a baby. I'm giving it a 10 because i felt good and satisfied with my stay. Also, the price is affordable which is a plus.

Boasting a garden, Rena Hostel is situated in Rena. This place doesn’t deserve all the negativity, I had an incredible stay! The owner was extremely friendly & accomodating despite my late booking & check in. With the prices in Norway I’d be happy to just have a bed & roof over my head that is affordable on a budget, but this place provided much more than that! It was quiet, clean, comfortable and had the basic amenities I needed for the night. Would definitely come back!

Easy to find, easy self check in. Great location. Easy parking. Lovely historic home. Perfectly clean. Amazing, comfortable common areas and huge modern kitchen for self-catering. With only 11 rooms, it felt like an exclusive and homely stay. Husband and I had a double room - cannot fault. Our adult daughters had a bunk room - a little cramped and stuffy but they still enjoyed the stay. Breakfast in hotel was lovely.

Comfortable beds. Friendly host. Cheap. The houses are old, so we didn't expect luxury, but we didn't miss anything. There was even games to play.

It was kinda like staying at a Hostel without the shared bathroom. The location was excellent, beds were comfortable & the shower was hot. The price was right. The breakfast was amazing!
