We recommend a longer stay in Barentsburg to taste some of its vibe of humble, genuine, peaceful, friendly creativity in an amazing setting. We stayed one week, could easily have stayed longer. It has a nice community feel, a lot of social spaces, and sufficient amenities. Baths are kept clean and are sufficiently numerous. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This hotel offers budget accommodation on the Arctic Ocean island of Svalbard. Communal facilities include a kitchen and TV lounge. Snowmobile safaris, dog sledding and glacier walks can be arranged. We had a very nice stay at Coal miners cabin! We stayed here for 6 nights. The rooms are good with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly. Very good breakfast, although it is the same every day. We will come back here next time on Svalbard
