The staff were very helpful. The free bus up to Gausta for cross country skiing and walking and to the heavy water museum were welcome extras. Set in the small town of Rjukan in the Telemark region, this guest house is 15 km from Gaustatoppen Mountain. It offers rooms with free wired internet access. The hotel itself very much matches the old Rjukan style - first of all functional and solid. Sure there are things that could do with some maintenance but having everything being new and shiny is really not a priority. Nice view of the river
