Very cozy and nice place, stayed for Christmas and absolutely loved it. Quiet place but short walk to city center. Staff was very friendly. Nice and tidy kitchen, common room and bathrooms. The room itself was also very comfortable. Not very soundproof but didn’t bother me. Would definitely stay again!

With the best location in town, locally owned On Top Backpackers & Apartments has something for every traveller! The room was lovely and comfortable with a lot of space and we loved that there was a good view from the balcony. Plus, the kitchen was fully stocked and super clean so we were able to cook on the night we were there which was great. Also, the location was ideal as you’re right by town. We had a great stay here and would recommend it.

Set in Wanaka, 2.3 km from Puzzling World, Adventure Wanaka Hostel offers air-conditioned rooms and a garden. Offering barbecue facilities, the property is located within 1.9 km of The Wanaka Tree. Really nice hostel, well-maintained and well-organized. The room was average, but the beds were comfortable, with a warm and soft duvet. The curtain around the bed was super useful, and the built-in light was a great touch. The kitchen was well-equipped and tidy, and the bathrooms were clean. Excellent location. I’d definitely recommend this place for both short and long stays.

Well situated in the Dunedin City Centre district of Dunedin, UpTown Backpackers is set 700 metres from Toitu Otago Settlers Museum, 1.1 km from Otago Museum and 2 km from Forsyth Barr Stadium. The receptionist was really really nice. The facilities are all clean. The toilet and shower area are all clean. We will rebook here when we visit Dunedin again.
