They were over any expectations. That Italian boss i never meet chose the best people to manage this property. I can't express enough how amasing were all 3 persons: Rosa. Elias and Julian were just perfect. They made me relaxed and happy. Every single second. They knew what i needed before I knew that i needed something. The food Rosa and Julian cooked for me just perfection. Thank you Rosa, Elias and Julian for being such amasing.

Fairly new hostel with large shared areas to hang out, big kitchen, good wifi connection and lovely staff. Location isn't directly in the town center, but ideal for the India Dormida hike.

Located in Cruce del Farallón, Cocle region, Hostal De Molen is set a few steps from Farallon Beach. This pet-friendly hostel also has free WiFi. Great staff, excellent breakfast, spacious room and amazing location. The pool was an extra bonus!

Auxi and her family made us feel at home. They are very warm and friendly people. They live in a beautiful little village in the hills. Some lovely young people from the area went for a walk with us. Auxi cooked tasty food for us. We enjoyed the beautiful garden.

The hostel has a beautiful garden and space for workouts. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's great that there's a WhatsApp group and you have the opportunity to go hiking together every day. The diffrent hikings and activitis every day are all organised by the hostel.

Set in Playa Blanca, Acuarela Hostal offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Farallon Beach and offers various facilities, such as a garden and a terrace. Luz and her family were wonderful hosts. Luz speaks mostly Spanish, so if you don't, Google translate is your friend. She helped me with my Spanish. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, breakfast was eggs, toast, coffee, and fruit usually. One day she made Venezuelan arepa (flatbread). Lots of help with bus information and places to go. They accommodated a couple special requests. Wonderful back patio with hammocks, special lighting, and seating. Games for children. Highly recommend. Wifi was decent, but may not be up to digital nomad standards. Many restaurants and some grocery stores. May need to text owner you are here since gate is locked (WhatsApp +507 6200‑4371) Tip: If you arrive by bus to Rio Hato and take taxi/small bus to location, you may need to say Posada Acuarela, not Acuarela Hostel.
