It's a really homely feel hostel, small and cosy with some excellent communal chill out areas. Nice kitchen with everyone you need, literally opposite a big supermarket and good location to get ubers to everywhere we wanted. Staff were super lovely and let us store our luggage and hang out there after checking out waiting for our overnight bus. Really nice spot. Was so busy we didn't get chance to use the pool but such a nice extra option too :)

The hostel is small but has a really good outdoor space. Everything was neat and clean. Nelson was an awesome host and graves really valuable tips while we were there. We will return and highly recommend it!

Conveniently situated in Panama City, Panama Hat Hostel provides air-conditioned rooms, a bar and free WiFi. The location is really good, walkable to metro, supermarket and malecon. The owners were very helpful and gave a lot of information before arrival so I could use the metro from the airport to reach here. Good kitchen with lots of equipment, big air conditioned rooms. Even let me keep my bags here for a few days while I visited other places and returned back. The area around here is really safe and would be my go-to place while visiting or transiting Panama city for sure! Highly recommended.

Habitaciones R-1 features air-conditioned rooms with cable flat-screen TV in the Bella Vista district of Panama City. The attention (customer service) and kindness from the staff and owner was superb. The location is excellent. The check-in system is very good and user friendly. I loved that guests can have late check-in times, and I loved that check-out is at 1p.m. The bathroom was very clean and had very good water pressure and toiletries. The room was small but very comfortable. It did not have AC, but I was provided with a big fan. Loved it. Did not miss the AC at all. Very strong Wifi. Lots of space and drawers to put away things. Convenience store right across the street.
