She even stayed up past midnight to let us in the first night when our bus was delayed 3 hours.

We could check-in immediately when we arrived by bus to Huaraz at 7am, we also got breakfast right away. The room is basic, but has a hot (electric) shower. The breakfast was good. And we could store our bags when we went on a multi-day trip. We extend our stay here. The family managing the hotel is very friendly and nice. Amazing value for the price.

She gave us very detailed explanations of all the places we wanted to visit. The terrace kitchen was well-equipped with a nice view of the surrounding snow mountains. On the day we returned from the Santa Cruz Trail, we had to take the night bus to leave. The owner let us take a shower and finish packing in our friend’s room without any extra charge!
