I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

Neydita hostel is so nice! Luis, is so kind and willing to go out of his way to help you with whatever you need. The hostel is very clean, one of the staff members is cleaning throughout the entire day and it didn’t go unnoticed. The hostel has a nice jungle vibe and the bedroom was great. Kitchen is small and basic but has everything you need to cook. Loved our stay here.
