This was a nice experience staying here. Jaime is one of the nicest people I have met and he very much enjoys meeting and talking with his guests. His English is pretty good and I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with him. There is a list of tours that guests can sign up for which made it very easy to see the surrounding rainforest and to look for wildlife. Seating during meals is at long tables which made it easy to meet and talk with other guests which I really enjoyed. My room was clean and comfortable with a lot of space and the cold showers were refreshing 😄. If I return to Puerto Maldonado I would stay here again!

The property was located inside a beautiful wild landscape. It is next to the river surrounded by beautiful tall trees. You can easily spot some exotic birds on the porch overseeing the river. At night be ready to be ready to encounter monkeys and sloths hanging around near the property!

There is so much to love about this property! Definitely a more rustic experience but almost everything is still very comfortable. The bungalows are screened in but definitely “open air” feel. Beds were comfortable. They provided fans and mosquito coils. Food was excellent! You won’t get to chose meals but honestly everyone in our group was happy with the food. Even my picky teenager. We saw a lot of animals including lots of monkeys, macaws, a sloth, a peccary, bullet ants, caiman, fished for piranhas and more. This is why we came and so everything was worth it for us. Because it is a remote location, there isn’t a lot of choices with things but they provided everything we needed. We had WiFi and power all the time which wasn’t expected but very nice in the evenings to wind down. The staff, which is family run, was perfect! Very friendly and spoke pretty good English. Jeanpier was super knowledgeable and great at being flexible with our excursions.

An amazing experience! The cabin was comfortable and there was hot water in the shower when the electricity is on. The 3 course meals at the restaurant, which are included (except for drinks) was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was all well organized, with the excursions. We had an amazing time.
