My favourite hostel in a 2 month trip. At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!

This Homestay is amazing! The owner is very kind and helpful. It is quite simple accommodation (no hot water, ac) but it is still very nice and clean. The location is great for people who wants to escape the touristy, crowded areas. It makes you truly experience the beauty of surroundings and be closer to the nature. Thank you so much! Nastanitev Riu del Mar Hostel je v mestu Dauis, 5,8 km od znamenitosti Jama Hinagdanan Cave in 40 km od znamenitosti Rezervat Tarsier Conservation Area. Everything was perfect the host Stephanie is very personable. The breakfast was excellent. Motorbikes for rent so getting to the best beach on Panglao is only 20 min ride. Getting to the country side is close by too.: location may not be perfect for some but I found it perfect because it was close to the city to go To the gym.
