I just liked the design, the quietness, the view and the staff. I want to open a hostel as well, and this hostel lives up to price vs quality vs design vs staff. I'm rating this hostel higher because no other competition is available. It's close to the beach, there are good local restaurants and you can rent a scooter etc. This hostel could be one of the best in Siargao. I tried different hostel around cloud 9, not impressed.

From the second we arrived at the hostel we were welcomed in to the family with tea and coffee, home cooked meals, delicious pastries for breakfast and recommendations on how to make the most of our trip to Siargao! I couldn’t recommend this hostel enough, we felt so welcomed and the hostel was very tidy. Such a lovely family/Hosts and if I was to return to Siargo, I would 100% stay at El Lobo.

The location was perfect. Close to the main tourist spot of general Luna but very quiet and peaceful at the actual hostel. Just a short 30 second walk to tuason point beach. the hosts Lara and paco were AMAZING! They helped us with everything from where to surf, where to eat, where to get groceries. It was nice that they hung out at the hostel and got to know the guests and partied with us too! Kitchen and chill out space is perfect and easy to meet people. The room is a big dormitory with your own fan per bed as well as a curtain.

The hostel was clean, comfortable and serene so I had a wonderful stay. I stayed 4D3N at Bajala and would definitely come back. They have strong wifi everywhere so I was able to work remotely. The property is also facing the beach which I really love.

Guest rooms at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. The hostel feels more like a home with big spacious common areas, kitchen and dining areas. The beds themselves comfy, bathroom was always clean and plenty of storage and lockers for bags. Attached is a cafe with delicious vegetarian food and great coffee. This is not a party hostel which I love. It’s quiet but fun and full of active travellers. My fave part about the stay was the two beautiful, sleepy puppy’s at Vedya. So well behaved and extra snuggly, they made my morning having breakfast with them!

The beds are very nice, have a sliding door, and have a closet inside to hang things or put things on shelves.

Guest rooms feature bed linen. Great value for money, good location right in town. The guys that run the place are really friendly and the showers and toilets are kept super clean.

I am so sad to be leaving, thank you for an incredible stay

It’s along the highway so very easy to go to. The dorms have curtains so you can still have your privacy. There is an open kitchen everyone can use, so you can make your own food. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Also, they have an in-house surfing instructor who is very good!
