This place is very beautiful and peaceful, bed and dorm are comfortable, toilet are always clean. Staff is kind and breakfast really good! Is possibile to take a kayak and going in the lake, is far from main areas scooter is necessary. I recommend and I’ll be back!

If you are looking for a true community travel place to slow down, this is the most amazing place. I originally planned just one night here but I stayed for more than a week…as did most of the people who came here 🤭. The staff is the nicest and they are keeping the place super clean even sweeping the leaves from the grass to make it more tidy. I made so many travel friends and survived a tropical storm in the best company possible. We cooked meals together, had movie and game nights and even got tips for activities around. It truly felt like being home with your newly found family.

It's not the Ritz but we.dont want a posh and expensive hotel, this feels like a home from.home. Set in a huge beautiful.gardwn only five mins walk from.rhe main Alona hussle and bustle, we were delighted to find this place; it's feels like we are in nature. The house is quiet and peaceful despite others and we had a great sleep. Comfy beds, AMAZING pillows on my bed and the air con in our room was priceless and reasonably quiet. Excellent value and with fun, attention and non intrusive staff, our stay was perfect. Thankyou. I stayed with my daughter and we stayed for longer than originally planned.

The guests rooms at D'Barn Hostel offer a wardrobe, a patio, and a dining area. really comfy beds, clean room and bathroom, great breakfast, nice pool. Nothing to complain about. May be a bit of a walk if you don't rent a scooter to get into town, but it's manageable.
