This spot is a little gem. The English owners were on site when I stayed and they were VERY friendly & helpful - not stingy like other hostels I've been to... very accommodating! The local staff at this hostel was extremely helpful and spoke great English too. The pool was really clean & nice w/a fun ambiance and a swim up bar. I stayed in the mixed dorm room w/only 4 beds and it was nice & easy. Owners are still working on finally touches on the property and rooms, it's only opened around 3 months ago. I loved that they had cups & tea / coffee /sugar/creamer available near the rooms w/Hot & Cold water filtration system.

The rooms are extremely clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and helpful

Instead of a quick jump at Bohol we stayed over night. We could not select better place for our stay! Great owner that gave us a lot od tips! Amazing breakfast!

Para ser un hostel para pasar una noche cerca del hotel me parece brutal, las instalaciones como las de un hotel, solo que son habitaciones compartida, pero la atención fue también brutal, atención desde antes de llegar al hotel ya te están dando consejos y preocupándose por cómo y cuándo llegaría.

The place is really clean,new beds and room:) delicious breakfast! Max and Anna are aleays happy to help you with any question. You can book activities with them and they can recommend you a lot to do during your trip!

Hermoso lugar para descansar rodado de naturaleza.

Izla Soanna está ubicado en Panglao, a 8 minutos a pie de Dumaluan Beach y a 11 km de Cueva Hinagdanan. Ofrece alojamiento con un jardín y wifi gratis, además de estacionamiento privado gratis. My favourite hostel in a 2 month trip. At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!
