It was epic. Hands down one of the best hostels I ever stayed at. If not even best. Those people know how to run a hostel.

The Boutique Taghostel is located in a charming old building on the main avenue of Lagos directly in front of the marina with stunning sea views. Free WiFi is available. Lovely people that make you feel at home. Clean and spacious shared facilities. Shared dinners are an amazing experience.

The location was perfect - walking distance from the beach, the strip with all the restaurants and clubs and easy to order an Uber from. The host went out of his way to make the stay more comfortable, made sure everything was clean and helped with anything I needed. Also has very cute communal areas for connecting with other travellers in the hostel! Made some great friends while staying there. If I ever come back to the area again would definitely rebook with them.

Special kudos to a tourist from Germany who was showing around as if he were a host there :) Didn't see the actual host but all the questions were solved in WhatsApp, so everything was great!

Hostel is super clean and has perfect facilities. I cant wait to come back😁

His kindness made our stay easier than we thought he’s supporting whenever we asked for something! It was excellent experience!

Situated 300 m from Faro Marina, Casa da Madalena Backpackers backpackers features a rooftop terrace with views over the colourful marina and the historical rooftops and a 24-hour front desk reception... All the staff members were so polite, kind and warm hearted. I really felt home. They will provide you with good ideas to do, tips where to eat and everyday fresh pancakes!! They will try to make your holiday as best as possible. good energy good location and very good people. I will hopefully see them again december! they have a summer and winter hostel ideas and im so excited to see how it is in the winter as well ❤️🍀 Everything was very clean, cozy and just enjoyable. They have a night shift as well, so if you are a solo traveler and maybe feel more vulnerable. Here they try to make it as safe as possible. there is always someone to help.

As I am 49 yrs old, I wasn’t sure about booking a hostel but I’m glad I did. Booked the double room and had privacy and quiet when I needed it. But it was great to interact with others from all over the world
