A new, very clean, and modern hostel. The kitchen was well equipped, nice kitchenware. Bed was comfy, not very soft, which I liked. They have a little terrace too. It's a keyless place. You get a code for everything. Just bring your own coffee.

Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. Great location, wonderful garden, super clean, multiple common areas, outstanding family dinners cooked from scratch with local ingredients, and, best of all, the friendliest most welcoming staff a traveler could wish for. Truly a home away from home. Like several of my fellow guests, I will be back.

Engenho Hostel is located on the beachfront in Lajes do Pico. The hostel features family rooms. Very nice location, one of the best in Pico, in my opinion. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice view over the ocean :) The house is very clean and equipped with the basics one might need. The communication was very good, at all times there was a phone number available. And the bonus: books! Books everywhere!! Loved this place so much!

The location is amazing and conveniently located. The staff is cordial and helped with some restaurant reservations. The communal facilities and the cloister are amazing.

This Azorean guest house is a 15-minute walk from the sea and features comfortable accommodation overlooking Faial and the Pico Mountain, the highest point in Portugal. Excellent breakfast, many options. Also loved the location and that there was a pool which my grandson used almost everyday. The apartment was clean and towels were changed everyday. Any issues were quickly dealt with.
