The hostel consists of 3 houses with a communal garden. Parking in front of the house is available. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast in the morning is good. The beach is directly across the street and the small town has some shops.

Set in Baleal, Captain's Log House has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Awesome hostel. The location is perfect for walking to a range of different surf breaks. The included breakfast is great and makes life so much easier. You get a towel included with your stay which is also really helpful. Upon arrival there was a cupboard in the kitchen with my name on it, and an allocated basket in the fridge. The owner also reached out on whatsapp prior to my stay with some useful information and to see if I had any questions :). Theres a shed in the garden to store your boards and theres places to hang your wetsuit too. Had an awesome time overall thanks to the volunteers and other guests.

The location is unmatched! Paredes is such a charming village and the sea is so close you feel it in the air (you can also see it from the common space terrace). The place is clean and modern.

33 Hostel - Youth Hostel 18 to 35 Only in Baleal provides adults-only accommodation with a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. The staff (Paulo & Marra) were fantastic! They make you feel so at home and feel like long time friends after only a short stay! The hostel is spacious and secure with one wristband to open everything which was very convenient. All the spaces were exceptionally clean and the breakfast on offer was great! Social activities were well organised and a great way to mix with the other guests - I really didn’t want to leave! Surf rental was super cheap and convenient too!!
