The bedroom is better than what it looks life from the photos and the mattress is really comfortable. There's air conditioning everywhere and the common room is really nice. The kitchen is fully equipped. The water pressure and temperature are perfect. The breakfast was really good and a big amount. The staff was really nice. The location is good if you plan on visiting the south part of Serra da Estrela/Torre.

The staff was great and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay there. Definitely will be going back there.

It was all amazing. It had a great location. The hotel has excellent access for people with reduced mobility. The room had plenty of space as did the bathroom. The view from the room was breathtaking. The staf was very friendly and very helpful. The decor in Burel was fantastic. It was possible to pay a visit to the factory of Ecolã given by the owner Mr João. I will certainly repeat the experience. Thank you for everything.
Fantastic hosts, great location in town, though parking is a little tight and the house is difficult to find on Satnav which kept wanting to take us the the adjacent (and very narrow) street. However, what a place... Really beautifully appointed rooms, simply the most wonderful hosts and a superb breakfast adorned with spreads, meats and incredible cheeses, with the very best freshly squeezed orange juice I've ever tasted! An absolute gem of a find! Thank you.

Great location, easy to find. Staff very helpful and friendly. A clean, comfortable and well appointed room with lovely views. Secure parking for vehicles in garage underneath hotel. A lovely little town with an authentic Portuguese, very reasonably priced restaurant within walking distance (Restaurante Muralhas de Celoryco).

It's a real budget hostel, a few minutes walk from the city centre and the University. Rooms and common bathroom was clean. Antonio is a great host. He makes delicious toasts and coffee at his cafe&bar downstairs the hostel.
Excellent reception (Ana, Carla, Sendrin, Tiago), room, kitchen and dining room (Emilia) services. According to the accommodation ranking, the services offered by this Youth Hostel, are very good.
Very nice owners who love their hotel and take a lot of pride in what they do. He told us a bit about the history of the hotel who used to be the town hall, then the first hotel of the town, then a ‘pensão’ (type of hostel) then a hotel again. They bought it in a derelict state early 90s and renovated it to the state it is in today. Lovely place, fantastic and plentiful breakfast served with a smile in a very nice setting. Great location to visit the town.
