This place truly felt like home - cozy, comfortable, clean, with lots of areas to chill and rest. What made it extra special were the people who worked and volunteered there and the daily yoga and special community events. I found a couple of new dear friends within the first couple of days. The energy feels good and welcoming. Everybody in my room (8 ladies) were also clean and super respectful of the nighttime. Room was cleaned multiple times a day. Amazing food and coffee at the cafe! Can’t wait to come back.

Amanda is the most careful and attentive host i have met in my trip in thailand ! She checked in with me before arriving , making sure my ferry was on time and that transportation from the port was accommodated. The house is absolutely lovely with a cozy common area where you can hang out with the other girls and plan your trip around the island. Amanda also helped us rent scooters and had them delivered to the house without any issues or stress! Purple house is the home away from home and I recommend it to all female solo travellers.

Located within 100 metres of Haad Rin Nok Beach and 600 metres of Leela Beach, Moon Dolphin Hostel provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Haad Rin. The host was so lovely and caring throughout our whole stay, also providing advice for travel on the island. The facilities were really clean with lovely warm powerful showers.
