Super nice place and very helpful staff, they help me with laundry things. This hostel makes my sleep so much better because it's quiet. I will come back to visit you again. It’s a gem and hear me out here. You want European comfort, but at the same time experience that local backpacker vibe, but not in some hardcore way. This is it! It’s a perfectly located (5 min from pier on foot, literally across the street from Food Court), with top tier breakfast in their own restaurant, but what is most amazing is that they have local community daily events, like yoga, trip to waterfall, family dinner etc., and it’s all for free! I cannot think of better way to meet cool people and do stuff together, but remain on your own terms if you decide to. Ah, they did even give us free soda drinks and a CAKE as complimentary, I mean c’mon, guys, you’re amazing!

The Funky Monkey Hostel - 18 to 40 years old only has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Haad Rin. I liked every single thing about the hostel. The staff and facilities were amazing. Thank you for everything.

Set in Koh Phangan, 600 metres from Baan Kai Beach, Purple House - Female only Boutique hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The Purple House is situated on a main road, but several miles from city center. You will have several restaurants and convenience stores just across the street. There is also a beach nearby. All of that is within easy walking distance. If you want to go to the city center, you will need to use taxis. It’s not a big deal, they are very easy to get, and Amanda will even give you information for a taxi service you can text directly. You can also rent a scooter, but beware because we saw many bandaged up people from scooter accidents and the hospital bills are $6,000+ Just factor the taxis into the cost of your stay here. The atmosphere is nice. Amanda is really friendly and helpful. She will answer you quickly every time. She wants your stay to be nice. The house has 8 beds, a mini fridge and a kettle, a bathroom, and a main gathering space. When I stayed we had 5 and we had no problem taking turns with the bathroom and we did okay with only cooking instant noodles using a kettle. The only part that was frustrating was trying to keep the main area cooled off. We would get the temperature just right and then the housekeeping would come clean and leave the doors to the outside open for an hour and it would get hot again. If they would just keep the doors closed when they cleaned the house would have stayed cooler. I would definitely recommend this house for women traveling. It felt so safe and it was really nice to have automatic friends. Amanda and her husband have done a great job creating that.

Located within 100 metres of Haad Rin Nok Beach and 600 metres of Leela Beach, Moon Dolphin Hostel provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Haad Rin. The host was so lovely and caring throughout our whole stay, also providing advice for travel on the island. The facilities were really clean with lovely warm powerful showers.

Situated in Ban Nua, within 400 metres of Haad Rin Nok Beach and 14 km of Phaeng Waterfall, Boy Scouts Homestay features accommodation with a bar and as well as free private parking for guests who...
