MBAR HOSTEL HAAD RIN has a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Haad Rin. Amazing place and amazing staff, Fon the main guy is an amazing person always ready to help out with any problems and always a call away During the full moon party there’s always free bbq for all the people staying at the hostels so it’s pretty fun place to meet people Everyday was a fun day at the hostel and met some amazing people and had an amazing time

The 10 Club Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Thongsala. The property is situated 300 metres from Thong Sala Beach, 1.5 km from Nai Wok Beach and 2.2 km from Pleayleam Beach. The owner, hosts and staff are amazing. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The community is really nice. Made a lot of new friends and had lots of fun hanging out with them.

The Funky Monkey Hostel - 18 to 40 years old only has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Haad Rin. I love this hostel! Such a great, well managed place with events going on every day. Not too loud in there but still there is a lot going on and you meet a lot of nice people. Also there is everything thought of that you might need. Perfect location for Full moon party. Set in Koh Phangan, 600 metres from Baan Kai Beach, Purple House - Female only Boutique hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The Purple House is situated on a main road, but several miles from city center. You will have several restaurants and convenience stores just across the street. There is also a beach nearby. All of that is within easy walking distance. If you want to go to the city center, you will need to use taxis. It’s not a big deal, they are very easy to get, and Amanda will even give you information for a taxi service you can text directly. You can also rent a scooter, but beware because we saw many bandaged up people from scooter accidents and the hospital bills are $6,000+ Just factor the taxis into the cost of your stay here. The atmosphere is nice. Amanda is really friendly and helpful. She will answer you quickly every time. She wants your stay to be nice. The house has 8 beds, a mini fridge and a kettle, a bathroom, and a main gathering space. When I stayed we had 5 and we had no problem taking turns with the bathroom and we did okay with only cooking instant noodles using a kettle. The only part that was frustrating was trying to keep the main area cooled off. We would get the temperature just right and then the housekeeping would come clean and leave the doors to the outside open for an hour and it would get hot again. If they would just keep the doors closed when they cleaned the house would have stayed cooler. I would definitely recommend this house for women traveling. It felt so safe and it was really nice to have automatic friends. Amanda and her husband have done a great job creating that.

The hostel is in perfect location in Haad Rin - walking distance to anything in the area. Especially for the full moon party, it was a two minute walk maybe even less! The hostel is family run and the family go above and beyond to make the stay memorable. There was free water, snacks and coffee. We ended up extended our stay here and was one of our favourite hostels!
