The area is peaceful, and there’s a big 7-Eleven with a pharmacy just across the street, which makes it super convenient. I actually caught influenza during my stay and had to rest for two days, but thanks to the cozy room and easy access to food and medicine, I was able to recover comfortably. The best part was on the day I checked out — it was early morning, and there were no Grab available, so the host kindly drove me to the bus station on his way to breakfast. That gesture really touched me. Overall, this was one of the kindest and most comfortable stays I’ve had. I truly recommend Ta Kaew Hostel to anyone — it’s clean, quiet, and run by an incredibly caring host.
