Free drinking water, free self-serviced coffee, snacks, microwave, refrigerator, etc. Lobby of hostel sells ice cream and waffles – they were delicious! Couldn't recommend this place more!

Before I arrived, the host sent very clear instructions on how to get there, which made things so easy. When I checked in, he was really friendly and even lent me things like a kettle and cups. I also asked about tours and transport, and he went the extra mile to find information and give me contacts — I really appreciated that. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was soft. The area is peaceful, and there’s a big 7-Eleven with a pharmacy just across the street, which makes it super convenient. I actually caught influenza during my stay and had to rest for two days, but thanks to the cozy room and easy access to food and medicine, I was able to recover comfortably. The best part was on the day I checked out — it was early morning, and there were no Grab available, so the host kindly drove me to the bus station on his way to breakfast. That gesture really touched me. Overall, this was one of the kindest and most comfortable stays I’ve had. I truly recommend Ta Kaew Hostel to anyone — it’s clean, quiet, and run by an incredibly caring host.

Although there’s a temple nearby, the noise didn’t disturb my sleep as the room is soundproof. Free coffee and hot chocolate are available at the reception, and bicycles are available for rent at a very competitive price.
