Although l didn’t do much in Khao Sok, the hostel was so comfortable that l spent 3 nights and had a rest from my travels here. - There is one dorm and it is huge, you don’t feel like you sleep with other 9 people. - The upper beds are accessed through real stairs on the sides so someone climbing on the bed never bothers you. - Air conditioner doesn’t kill you, beds are well protected with curtains. - There is locker under the bed. - Mattress and pillow is comfortable, all brand new. White bedsheet, good towel. All quality. - And the breakfast! You have 3-4 options and it is delivered from the restaurant that they own. - The host is a pretty young lady, so responsive. I forgot my medicine in the hostel and she helped me to get it delivered to Krabi.

Super friendly staff, really comfy beds and great facilities in general, great location close to the beach & a free water refill, so you can avoid plastic waste. We really enjoyed our stay here! You get vouchers for drinks at their cafe at the beach and we even got a voucher for a breakfast there - maybe because it was new years or because we stayed a bit longer. In any case, you also always get a discount on the food and it's delicious. They also provided earplugs for free. The soap they provided smelled very good.

The room was a bit small but definitely cozy, modern, and the beds were very comfortable. The host, who is also the owner, is simply wonderful—she takes care of everything that comes up and is always there 24/7. It creates a really great feeling.

Clean, friendly staff, located outside of the main area of Koh Tao but still had plenty of restaurants and things nearby. Other guests were quiet and respectful in the dormitory. An acceptable breakfast to get you going. Not a party hostel. Probably best to have a scooter if staying here.

The location was great, it was by the pier, there are a few shops and restaurants around, is very close to the beach too. The beds were super comfy, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, the food at the hostel’s bistro was great, freshly made. I also liked that a towel and the bed linen were included. The AC in the bedroom was fantastic! I also liked that the the bathroom was apart from the bedroom, it is great so you don’t disturb your roommates. The staff was super friendly and helpful too!

Situated in Chaweng and with Chaweng Beach reachable within less than 1 km, DK1Hostel features concierge services, rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. By far the best hostel in Koh Samui! The location is perfect — right in the tourist area of Chaweng. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the main street where all the parties are, but in return you don’t have to deal with loud nightlife noise until late at night. ;) Tharita, the “hostel mom,” puts her whole heart into this place. No matter what you needed, she was always there to help. She also organized everything around the stay and arranged every transfer and ferry ticket at very fair prices. There’s free water, tea and coffee. The beds are super comfortable and beautifully prepared. Overall, it’s an extremely clean and well-maintained hostel! When I come back to Koh Samui, I will definitely stay here again! It was just perfect!

Overall the best hostel I stayed at in koh tao. You had a very nice view of the palms from the common area, the beds were comfy, had curtains which gave privacy. If you are looking for a relaxing, calm hostel - this one is for you!
