It is a little bit further from village, 25 min walk, but the bus and van station is very close. They organize tour to the lake, night safari and to the elephant sanctuary. Quiet place and the nature is beautifil. I enjoyed there.

This small cozy hostel recently opened and it is run by an amazing Spanish-Thai group of friends. It still misses some commodities, but really felt like home. All staff was very friendly and welcoming. Really a nice vibe! We booked the private room with separate beds, it was way better in reality than it looked in the pictures. Everything very clean and quiet.

Favorite hostel in 2 months of traveling in Asia. Clean, intimate (only 16 people max can stay there) and super friendly. The staff is over the top amazing and generous. Every day they shuttle you to a different beach, which is a game changer in terms of getting around on the island especially for those of us scared of motorbikes. You will become good friends with most of the people staying there through these day trips! Pretty much everyone who stays extends!! It’s just so great and so relaxed!!
