The host J shared a bunch of local recommendations with me, and I enjoyed our morning chats at the coffee shop :) They also run a bar in the same building, and even as a solo traveller, I felt comfortable spending time there because the bartenders were warm and welcoming. And of course their original cocktails were great too! My fav was 貴妃挽茶 (Imperial Concubine Yang).

The hosts were super flexible in my dates because I kept changing them. They were friendly and helpful but they are not around that much which makes sense because they have a baby. The hostel is super comfortable!!! If you have a bike it’s easier to move around. It is not in front of the sea so you have to ride the bike for 15 min to get to the closest beach. It was clean. It has a kitchen and a common area very comfy. They will help with whatever you ask.

Very cosy space and quiet area. Very accessible and short walking distance from train station. There are also diving classes available to be done with the hostel at affordable prices. And in a smaller group which is great! Even for non-swimmers like me, they do diving experience too and Rene managed to convince me to do it! It was such a memorable experience!

A good budget accommodation, I would come back here again.

Located within 80 metres of Kenting Night Market in Kenting, KO Hostel Kenting 返璞歸真 墾丁背包客棧 provides a garden and a terrace. 1.9 km from Dajianshan, the hostel features a shared lounge and a bar. Very clean! Great location! Staff was very kind and helpful!

Set in a Minnan style building, 5 minutes walk from Kenting Main Street, Kenting Youth Activity Center offers accommodation with free WiFi in PIngtung. Free public parking is possible on site. The room, location ( outside is the Main Street night market ) , the facility ( washing machine and drinking machine, vending machine) , the breakfast were all great. We definitely will come back again when we visit Kenting.
