Very close to the station, inside the place feels lika a museum. You keep your shoes outside but get slippers which creates a home vibe. The kitchen is well equipped, there are free bikes outside. I was offered a free toothbrush since I had lost my cosmetics bag.

The facilities were really clean and the rooms were super cozy. It had everything you need and even went beyond by providing things like house slippers and shampoo!

This was truly a "minshuku". The owner owns and lives there. It is not another commercial space rented out to build hostel. In terms of facilities, the room and bathroom were clean. The stairs were not an issue for me. The owner is very nice and welcoming. Overall, my favorite stay in Taiwan.
