Attractively located in the Hualien City district of Hualien City, Light Hostel Hualien is situated 3.1 km from Pine Garden, 18 km from Liyu Lake and 36 km from Taroko National Park. One of the best hostel I have ever seen. The beds are super comfortable and seemed new and modern, our room was not fully booked so everybody had a bed assignment on the ground so nobody needed to go up the ladder, curtains for each bed have been great for privacy and darkness, individual light and and power plug in each bed, super nice big shower room with a dressing/undressing area before each individual shower, common area with basic kitchen equipment and big fridge to be used by everyone.

Located in Hualien City, Just Walk Backpacker Hostel is 1.5 km from Pine Garden. Featuring air conditioning, free toiletries are stocked in all rooms. Just Walk Backpacker Hostel offers a sun terrace.... Hostel is located in a walking distance to the train station. There is a self help laundry mart only 2 mins walk which is very convenient for the backpacker. Along the street which there are lots of restaurants and convenience stores run for 24 hours. If you wanna have a taste with Taiwanese food this is a good place to stay. About the hygiene of the hostel is clean and the environment is cozy and comfy. I strongly recommend this hostel to everyone if you wanna have a reasonable price to stay !

The owner also good cyclist, and gave me some local info likes warning point on the road. You can keep your bike on their lobby with the bike stand. The hotel is front of sight seeing point, and close to walk to the restaurants and conveniences stores. (So the hotel is Not noisy outside). I strongly recommend this hotel.
