I mostly sleep in hostels in shared rooms, and I would like to recommend the Justwalk Hostel in Hualien, Taiwan. The owner welcomes guests and helps with everything. The hostel is amazing in its beauty, clean and practical design, the best I have seen to date.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The host was very helpful and nice. Everything was clean and comfortable and had nicely decorated artwork throughout the building. I also liked the location. I’d definitely stay here again!

I cannot recommend this property enough. The host was super accommodating, the room was hugeeee, it was very central, yet quiet. The place is clean. Extra bonus was having the free bike rental, it really made my trip to Hualien being able to cycle around town

Everything is so well-designed and thought-out, and the owners clearly haven’t skimped on anything. Everything is super high quality and when you need something, you’ll happen to find it immediately. Probably the most beautiful interior design in the 50-odd hostels I’ve stayed at before, too. Cool staff and friends of staff and owner, too.

We stayed in May 2024 and really enjoyed our stay! The lady running World Inn is so friendly and welcoming it really made our stay! She gave us lots of helpful tips for places to eat and visit. We really enjoyed cycling along the coast and eating at the night market. The hostel rooms aren't the biggest but they are clean and comfy, there are also lots of places to relax in the common areas. I would definitely recommend staying at this gem!

The rooms, shared spaces, and bathrooms are all very clean and comfortable. The owner is also very welcoming and friendly. The location is convenient — it’s close to Hualien Station, and there are many restaurants nearby. I would love to stay here again if I visit Hualien in the future.
