It is 700 metres from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. • Incredibly kind and accommodating staff (thank you very much ❤️) AND we extended our stay multiple times because we enjoyed it so much!!! • Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms • Beautiful, modern design throughout; well-decorated and well-maintained • Amazing city views from the 15th floor (common areas) • Great breakfast included, freshly prepared menus (changes daily) and a small buffet with toasts, spreads, etc... • Very safe environment with electronic keycards/cameras and clear house rules that keep the space respectful • Convenient location inside a building with a mall lots of food options nearby

Set in the heart of Donghai shopping area in Taichung, 1.5 km away from Luce Chapel, 框框背包客棧 Kuang Kuang Hostel boasts fittings and decorations in a student dormitory style. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in in Taiwan or anywhere else. Rooms and facilities were very clean and comfortable, building had character and charm. Location was convenient as we had to attend an event at the university nearby, and the staff were extremely helpful. Double room was also very affordable for the quality.

Set in the Central District of Taichung, Loosha Hostel is only 900 metres away from Taichung Train Station. The room was big and as they showed in the pictures. Staffs are all nice and infornative. Breakfast was very nice and healthy. Location is very near the station. Love the hostel for their sense of caring, facilitating, smoking free . Will stay here if visit Taichung again.

Stray Birds Taichung Hostel is set in Taichung. Popular points of interest nearby include Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store and National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. Nice design, cozy public area and the lounge. The staff are very friendly, and we become friends. The location is also very convenient! There is a night market just next to the hostel which has many delicious local food!!!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Mini West Hotel offers accommodation in Taichung. It was good and comfortable, tho i living in a mixed dorm however it turn out comfy and would come next time

Backpacker 41 Hostel is a quaint setting located in Taichung. Free WiFi is covered in public area and free parking space is offered. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning. Awesome staff and very beautiful place, quite convenient. I loved it

The location couldn't be better! Right beside the Night Market, Old Street, and Temple, with so many food options. The staff were very helpful with recommendations even though we needed to use google translate. Everything was perfect: clean, spacious, and comfortable. The big tub was especially appreciated after a long day of bicycling. While there is no elevator in this renovated building, it was only a couple flights of stairs, so not a problem as long as you expect it.
