Location is superb first, very close to city’s Shennong street so as other shops and temples. Most staff are also living there and even though they speak little English, try to treat you warmly w/ heart. Both my room and common places were all clean and well organised. Offering free snack, tea and coffee was just fantastic. Shower and toilet all worked well. The bed was pretty comfy, AC was powerful and having its own outlets, lights and curtains was great. But the best thing was 3 cute cats living in the hostel I’d say. My personal favorite was a white Persian cat. She was incredibly cute and adorable haha.

Only a 6-minute walk from Tainan Railway Station, Journey Hostel offers cosy and affordable accommodation conveniently located in Tainan. Free WiFi is accessible throughout the entire property. First of all, the location was amazing, super close to the train station and various nice places in the city are also within walking distance. The interior of the common area is soooo pretty and cozy, and I appreciated that there was a lot of locker space in the dorm rooms.
