Rooms are small, but very clean and nicely decorated. I think they had a backup generator because we felt no power cuts, always had hot water. Bed was so comfy, large and more than enough pillows. Staff speaks just a little English, but is very friendly and helpful. They stored our luggages for the duration of the safari in their own room without extra cost, we really appreciated the effort. The outside area is also comfy to just lay and relax, they have like a hanging rocking bed, it was relaxing to sit there and read.

Serengeti Home tilbyr en hage, fellesstue, en terrasse og bar i Arusha. Staff here was so incredibly warm and friendly. We were greeted with smiles and fresh watermelon with ginger juice. We enjoyed the delicious feast we had for dinner and the sweet and savory hot breakfast we were served too. We would recommend staying here.

Stayed here after a Safari and before climbing Meru. Was an excellent place to stay - cozy, beautiful, and with very generous and warm hosts. We had an afternoon walk around the entire area guided by one of the hosts (where the farmers gifted us some free eggplants (aubergine) that they were harvesting), and then a very nice dinner cooked by them. By the looks and sounds of the place after speaking with them, they are new to this eco-cabin business, but have great plans to expand and make it even more impressive for tourists who come through and want to experience the calm, quiet, and very naturally beautiful areas of Tanzania. Very worthwhile staying here!
